In 2016, John W. Dickey,became the new Chief Executive Officer of Ora TV, an on-demand digital entertainment network and production company founded by broadcasting legend Larry King & billionaire business mogul Carlos Slim. Since its launch in 2012, Ora TV has created and distributed award-winning original talk, news, lifestyle, variety, documentary, and scripted programming for a variety of platforms, including digital and linear television. Currently in its fifth season and with over 600+ episodes to date, Ora TV is responsible for the multiple Emmy nominated “Larry King Now” series which is available on Ora.TV, Hulu, and broadcasted around the world on RT America.

More recently, Dickey served as Executive Vice President of Content and Programming at Cumulus Media Inc. until September 29, 2015 after serving as Executive Vice President since January 2000 and co – COO since 2006. Mr Dickey was part of the initial investment group in Cumulus and formally joined the company in 1998.

Prior to Cumulus, Dickey served as Executive Vice President and Partner of Stratford Research since June 1988. He also served as Director of Programming at Midwestern Broadcasting from January 1990 to March 1998. Mr. Dickey Co-Founded Modern Luxury Magazine Company in 1999. Modern Luxury is the largest regional city magazine company in the country catering to the Luxury Market.

Dickey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Stanford University and graduate in 1988.
